'Biobizz' LIGHT-MIX mit Perlite 50L

BioBizz Light-Mix is a lightly pre-fertilized substrate mixture designed for the early stages of plant life. It consists of peat moss with a moderate to high degree of decomposition (H6 to H8) and added perlite to ensure an optimal air-water ratio in the soil.

The peat moss is made up of specially selected types of sphagnum moss and is at various stages of decomposition. This organic base provides good structure and organic matter to host a rich microbial ecosystem. Additionally, perlite is incorporated into the substrate to provide adequate soil aeration, thus achieving an optimal air-water balance in the soil.

The diverse microorganisms facilitate nutrient uptake by plants and help stabilize the pH and EC values of the substrate. The pH of BioBizz Light-Mix is 6.2, and the electrical conductivity (EC value) is 1.2, creating a favorable soil environment for robust root growth.

The nutrient values of the substrate include a nitrogen content (N) of 1536 mg/l, a phosphorus content (P2O5) of 150 mg/l, and a potassium content (K2O) of 220 mg/l, sufficient to support plants for the first one to two weeks. After this period, it is advisable to supplement with liquid fertilizers in the irrigation water to prevent nutrient deficiencies.

The complete microbial ecosystem present in BioBizz Light-Mix helps maintain soil conditions and stabilize soil parameters such as pH. Even large amounts of plant nutrients or heavy fertilizers can be absorbed and processed by the soil.

It is also recommended to prepare the growing substrate before planting by moistening it with water about 36 hours prior to use, which activates the microorganisms and the remaining soil ecosystem. This ensures that plants are introduced into an active and optimal soil environment. During further cultivation, care should be taken to prevent the substrate from becoming too cold, as low soil temperatures slow down the microbial ecosystem and reduce the soil's positive properties.
